Melon pan

Melon pan is a ubiquitous snack in Japan. It also enjoys popularity around the rest of East Asia. It's a sweet bun topped with cookie dough and sugar. It's especially popular with young people, many students sneak one in for lunch from time to time.We currently sell three types. Our twist on the classic cookie topping is prepared with vanilla and almond meal. The two additional choices add chocolate chips or macha powder.

The tops

Cookies

You guessed it. We took the topping and turned them into cookies. You can't top these!

The keeper

Melon pan rusk (beschuit)

No one likes food going to waste. We slice, sprinkle with sugar and do a long re-bake of what's left after a day at the market. The result? Delicious dry biscuit, great with tea/chai or coffee.
